Who This Is For
You are building something on your own. You have found a real problem, you have built something to fix it, and now you are trying to get your first early users. You have more time than money, and not much of either.
You are not looking for someone to tell you it will be fine. You are looking for someone who has already made the mistake you are about to make.
Who This Is NOT For
People with a cofounder, who already have the thing this solves. People collecting ideas they have no intention of building. People who want to be told they are doing great.
What Actually Happens Here
You bring the thing you are stuck on. There is a subscriber chat, and every week there is a thread where founders put up what is blocking them. I answer every one. So do the other founders.
You get to learn from other people’s mistakes for free. I write twice a week about what building alone actually costs. I ran a startup called Shezaar and I recently had to wind it down. So I write about what I learned along the way. I hired nine people and fired four of them. I got shortlisted out of ten thousand applicants the same week I was working out how to make payroll. None of that is a story I enjoy telling. All of it is cheaper for you to read than to repeat.
You meet the founders. Members-only round tables where people say real numbers because nothing is recorded. Sessions with people who are further along. Introductions to founders I think you should know, made by me.
You get the tools I build for myself. I am not an engineer but I build with AI because it is the only way one person gets this much done. Everything that works for me goes to you with the prompts attached.
Why I Am Building This
I never found a room like this when I needed one. Every founder community I joined was full of people performing. I wanted somewhere I could say “I think this is failing and I do not know what to do” and have four people answer honestly.
So I built it, and it turns out a lot of people were looking for the same room.
